小さな映画館の映写技師のアキオ(70)は、客として来ていた同級生のススムと２０年ぶりに偶然再会する。
旧交を温める為に二人は、ススムの馴染みだったスナックで歓談する。そのスナックのママから、秘湯「若の湯」（若返りの湯）を薦められる。
興味をそそられた二人は早速そこを訪れる事にする。若返りを期待して出発する二人に待っているものとは…。

 

A cinema projectionist , Akio(aged 70) happens to meet his old classmate, Susumu, for the first time in 20 years.
To renew their friendships, they go to the bar Susumu has known very well.
At the bar, they are recommended by the lady that they should go to the "rejuvenating" hot spring called "Waka -no-yu."
They immediately get interested in her recommendation and decide to go to that place.
Now they are driving into the forest, in the expectation that they can get back their youth again...
